About Plooka
Plooka Press is a small, independent publisher of cozy coloring books and everyday activity books, sold on Amazon.
Why cozy?
Coloring is one of the easiest ways to slow down. We wanted books that feel like a warm kitchen on a rainy day: bold outlines that are easy to stay inside, scenes that are busy enough to be interesting but never crowded, and a cast of small characters you get to know page by page.
Meet the cast
- Biscuit the cat stars in Bakery Mornings.
- Clover the bunny stars in Blossom Gardens.
- Bramble the bear stars in Story Nooks.
- Puddle the duck stars in Puddle Days.
- Pip the mouse stars in Teacup Afternoons.
- Pudding the puppy stars in Puppy Playdays.
- Plooka, our tiny purple plum, hides on every single coloring page.
How we make our books
Every page goes through checks before it reaches a book: lines thick enough for markers, spaces big enough to color, one page per sheet so nothing bleeds through, and solutions you can trust in every puzzle book. We read every page ourselves.
Beyond coloring
We also publish large print word search and sudoku with big, clear type; mazes and math drills for kids; guided memory journals for grandparents and parents; pet health logs; and undated planners you can start any month.
